Product Description:
White fine crystalline particles or powder, hygroscopic, easily soluble in water, with a neutral aqueous solution. Soluble in glycerol, insoluble in alcohol. When exposed to air, it gradually absorbs one molecule of water. The anhydrous form with high purity and fine particles is called sodium sulfate. Sodium sulfate is reduced to sodium sulfide when reacted with carbon at high temperatures.
